o_x current TS-er is MIA for quite a while and I'm getting tired of stalking him, so anyone interested in doing typesetting for:

- OP2 & ED2 karaoke effect (They have been timed already! You don't need to time them!)
- special effects for Ryuujinmaru's all different types of attacks
- minor typessetting for all episodes (I did the basic typesetting already so you just need to do what I don't know how to do lol)

Also recruiting editor(s) with fluent English and good memory (as you need to be able to keep track of all the different terminologies used throughout all 51 episodes)

As you all know, the translation and timing portion of all 51 episodes were done like, back in 2009 x_o I feel bad about all these scripts sitting in my computer... typesetting and editing are all that's needed for these episodes to be released. But well if I really can't get the typesetting and editing part done, I guess I will just get Ed to encode them anyway. I really want to get these episodes all out by 2011 Summer. Let's aim for this goal! ~~then maybe I'll move on to Wataru 2~~

I recently bought this Ryuujinmaru figure so I was playing with it last night~~~ 8D

Okay, actually to be on topic...
I feel lazy lately ~~nursing school is evil~~ and I felt bad about the stuck translations that are not being encoded. After all, everything has been translated and translation checked and timed since last year .____. I translated, my Japanese friend (who is an English major btw) translation checked, and I timed. Sooo the translation should actually be okay right, since both of us at least graduated university? lol... so... Should I skip typesetting and further editing, and just jump right to encoding and release? It's not a thesis so no one really cares if there are minor mistakes that we both missed, right? And it doesn't really matter that there are fancy typesetting in the first 7 episodes but no more typesetting after that right? RIGHT? NO ONE CARES ABOUT KARAOKE STYLING, RIGHT???

Well, there isn't much to add. Translations and timings for episodes 1-51 were all complete, but we are stuck on the typesetting and editing stage... Unless you people don't care about typesettings and editing, I guess we could throw them all out now... but no, I do want to make them nice and "complete" and as errorless as possible, so sorry, you'll all have to wait longer, as I'm very, very slow. xD;

So, I got accepted into nursing school about 5 months ago, and the program just started two weeks ago. I naively thought that nursing school will be all about practical stuff so I can probably read less than before. Apparently I was wrong. Yeah, there are a lot of practical stuff, but there are a lot of theoretical stuff too. x___x More readings than during last my B.Sc degree (which I graduated from back in May). Well, after all the nursing degree is a B.Sc degree as well, so I guess it makes sense to have a lot of homework and readings too... xD;; oh well. Less time for Wataru. ;___;

One night, a Demon holding a mysterious light sphere has suddenly appeared. The light sphere went to Ikusabe Wataru.

One night, a Demon holding a mysterious light sphere has suddenly appeared. The light sphere went to Ikusabe Wataru. It took his righteous heart and the memories of Soukaizan. In replacement, it implanted a devil heart.

In order to save Soukaizan, which the people from Makai has taken control of, Tsurugibe Shibaraku and Shinobibe Himiko brought the delinquent Wataru to the Monja Village that is located at the foot of Soukaizan.

On the way to Shinbukai, Shibaraku told Wataru about a Mashin who came to the Monja Village and destroyed houses, and how the Seventh Level of Soukaizan disappeared without notice.

For the sake of saving the people who had their consciences taken away, Kyuuseishu Wataru have to defeat the new enemy - Ankokuder.

A big breasted lady approached Wataru and introduced herself as Suzume.

Suddenly, the Mashin that Shibaraku has defeated was back to life.

Wataru summoned Ryuujinmaru miraculously and destroyed the out-of-control Mashin. At the same time, he retrieved the memories of the Kyuuseishu.

Together with Shibaraku and Himiko, Wataru headed to the next destination - the First Level.

Because Suzume is interested in Wataru, she followed behind them.

Hi! Our old editor is busy so she had to quit. Is there anyone out here with fluent English who is willing to edit for us? ^_^ You don't need to have experience editing anime, but you must have a good grasp of English grammar, and preferably have lived in an English speaking community for 5 years or more. That's all!

We would prefer it if you don't mind re-editing from the first episode (for consistency's sake), but if you don't want to do that much, then you can edit from episode 22 onwards. ^^

Like I said last time, I'm currently focusing completely on translation and translation check, because my translation checker (my friend at school) is an international student, and will be leaving the country by ~~next~~ this April. So I think it's best to go through with all the translations first, and then work on the typesetting and editing afterwards. With that being said... well, you won't expect any releases in the near future, but I can almost guarantee that we'll finish all episodes this way, because I won't let translated material left un-encoded. ^_^

Like I said last time, I'm currently focusing completely on translation and translation check, because my translation checker (my friend at school) is an international student, and will be leaving the country by next April. So I think it's best to go through with all the translations first, and then work on the typesetting and editing afterward. With that being said... well, you won't expect any releases in the near future, but I can almost guarantee that we'll finish all episodes this way, because I won't let translated material left un-encoded. ^_^

Last year of university sucks. I really hate one of my Psychology TA, who was evil enough to give me less than 20% on a paper! After that, I went to his office hours for help, because I don't understand what my errors were, but he wouldn't tell me! He said I should figure them out myself. WT*? If I understood what was wrong, I wouldn't get like 20%, and I wouldn't need to actually skip my other class to come for his help! What an anal a$$hole =( He must be racist or something. *sigh* I really want to graduate next year and not stay for another year... it would sucks to be stuck in the same university for more than 5 years. *sigh*

Um yes. I started this 10 months ago upon the request of a few school friends... I was disorganized and we had several detours, but let's not go into the details. I have literally memorize every line in these 5 episodes now ~~and I'm not even a fan of Gintama.~~ Kugimiya Rie is awesome.

Well, now that we got this over with, we can concentrate back on Chou Wataru. Like mentioned before, since we got a new TLC (well, not so new anymore XD), we'll be releasing version 2 of all the previous episodes. Also, I won't release anymore Chou Wataru episodes UNTIL ALL 51 EPISODES ARE COMPLETE so that I can make sure everything is correct and consistent. It's indeed my favourite childhood anime, so I want to make it as good as I can. After all, looking back at the releases I made in 2006... they are pretty crappy =P

The first episode of the first season of Wataru aired on April 15, 1988! So today is the 20th anniversary of Wataru! ^o^

... too bad I don't have much downloads for you guys right now since it's my final exam period (Biology 302 tomorrow!) x_x I guess I can find LightShock's ep 1-4 later and post them here after 2 weeks? ^^; Just need to find the DVD w/ the files XD; I do have them downloaded a while ago =)

I don't see anything special regarding Wataru on SUNRISE's homepage... does it mean they won't do anything about Wataru's 20th anniversary? ;_;

These are the music specials that comes with the OVA, but since I don't have HQ raws of them (I believe you can only get these with from the VHS versions of the OVA), we will not be releasing them. You can watch them on YouTube.

Omg I can't believe I haven't updated anything here for so long! School has been very busy x.x We have been slow too since everyone are quite busy x_x Argh why can't we have 48 hours a day instead of only 24 ;.; The Wataru Mashin figures that I bought months ago are still in their boxes >_<;

Well, I guess I do have a little bit of good news to bear... After lurking with Winny for 7 months, I have finally downloaded every Chou Wataru episode with LD quality~~ ~~_{Don't mind the file name >.> I was screencapping school related material}~~ So I think we'll be re-releasing the older episodes too re-encoded with these LD quality raws =D

What's cool about these raws is that they have the little Himiko game at the end too! =3

Urgently recruiting editors and translation checkers. Any takers? >_<;;

For editor, you need to be VERY fluent with English, and if you have past experience, even better. You also need to be able to edit the 3 episodes OVAs (yes, I started working on that) within 7 days, and you have to be willing to edit it on the subtitle scripts. (If you don't know how, it's fine, I can teach you, but you have to be willing to install and learn how to use Aegisub.)

As for translation checker, no experience required... preferred if you are native Japanese speaker. Otherwise, please only apply if you have passed JLPT level 2 or above.

So since Chou Wataru has reached its 10th anniversary a few days ago, today I went out to get these... (I didn't buy all of them before because it's quite expensive... *sigh*)

and as you can see, even for the Red and Blue Ryuujinmaru, I haven't opened them yet... XD;;;;;; *not very fond of putting together models* I really should put them together soon though XD;;

It's unfortunate that the store does not have Jakomaru (The first time I saw this store, which is like, 2 years ago, and Jakomaru is already sold back then... which is why I only got the Red and Blue Ryuujinmaru) and the green Choujinmaru... I would be able to get the full set if I can get the two Jakomaru and the green Choujinmaru... oh well...
